3Ds? is it any good right now?

I've been thinking lately, does the 3DS have a region code or not? and is it worth buying right now?
I'm not getting it yet, I'm waiting for BBCS2

It's region locked.
And buying it on relase is no good since the starting lineup isn't good either. Waiting is best.
Probably the most appealing title now is SSFIV 3D but if you have AE or regular SSFIV it's not worth it.

Agreed. Gamestop is doing a trade-in deal right now though. You can trade in your DSi, DSiXL, or DSLite I believe and get money off your 3DS. It depends on the condition though for how much you get off though. And I think the maximum off is $100. Still, it's best to wait for some better games to come out.

Well, i bought one, and honestly, it is not very wow. The graphics are better for 3ds games, but not for the older games. The 3D is good, but can be straining, and the battery life. You probably heard its kinda short and that is indeed true. But, because games are being made for the 3ds and you cant play 3ds games on the ds, its the only way to play new ds games.

The color is nice though.

Seriously? There isn't backwards compatibility? That's bullshit. Just lower the graphics a little bit, and it'll be playable.

I know that, but it still sucks that you can't use the 3DS games on a DSi. It makes sense, but I still don't like it...
