Background

A clone of the late Basil Ritterson, Bass Ritterson was created to provide Basil support during operations conducted as part of the 157, code named "Vindicator," specifically as spotter to Basil's sniping. However, the two only worked together in an official operation once (wherein he received the title/moniker "Mad Dog" after rushing blindly into dense mortar fire to rescue an allied squad), as after getting married Basil actually retired from the 157.

Upon Basil's death during the Purge, he was informed that he was going to be a vessel of Basil's revival and received a chip extracted from Basil. However, the dark priest tasked with retrieving Basil's soul was unable to cut a deal with Thanatos, and the project was dropped.

Having retired from the 157 shortly after, Bass decided to take up a civilian life. However, Chen managed to convince him to join in on some mercenary work. He now works as a freelance IT consultant by day, merc by night.

Personality-wise, he's pretty much a second Basil, except for the fact that he prefers less-than-lethal measures whenever he works. He's also a tad bit too lazy, and is more of a substance abuser than his progenitor, consuming more caffeine and alcohol.

Pretty good, very much like a human. No particular special unique ability, just really damn good at what you do. Having a special power opens one up to a special weakness, like how mine are limited by requiring contracts or needing to verbally speak while touching something to cast most demon magic. You, on the other hand, only have to worry about typical things that any living being (Yukari aside) have to worry about.

Anyway, thanks. I intended him to be more human that Basil who, as a revenant, was able to cast flames from his hands, not to mention being a crazy mix of flesh, blood, and steel.
